There was no fixing this – getting new certificates, etc Using Cisco AnyConnect and I havent found any solutions to this. Thanks Microsoft I didn’t have an issue with that , I use Cisco AnyConnect, after the update it required me to update the client to 4. I believe my deviece M. I may have to eventually reformat with the Creator’s Update, which is what I was trying to avoid. Next step after a long time wait is to issue fixes for the fixes. I had to roll back. This update broke my monitors badly. My setup is bog-down simple, a laptop with a single secondary monitor. The update for some reason imagined 6 monitors in my setup, my 2 original monitors, plus 4 “non-pnp generic monitor”, which never existed.
I could not unplug the secondary monitor, nor switch from “duplicate display” to “extend display”, the desktop moved to one of those nonexistent monitors and I couldn’t work.
Removing the monitors and video cards on device manager and restarting for the hardware to be re-detected didn’t solve it. But uninstalling the Intel video driver briefly restored the screen, but the driver is reinstalled automatically when the video card is detected. Rolled back, problem “solved”.
But the real solution will be when intel updates its driver to a version compatible with the Creator Update. Every time. After 6 re-installs, the same. With updates or without This sucks. The powershell trick to re-register them fails. I don’t have a restore point and when I try to use the option to restore the previous compilation nothing happens. Any ideas what to do?
