For some of my clients I installed the Microsoft office 2010 picture manager alternative free Picture Manager because they found it so useful. The four main features that they liked about it was the ability to view all pictures in one view in the program and select which pictures that they wanted to print from within the program. The third feature was the ability to easily set the number of pictures that you wanted to print on one page!
The last feature was the easy editing and resizing features included in the offjce. However, I am not happy to continue installing such an old program, because it has not really been updated for more than 15 years and probably has a lot of bugs and security flaws.
From a patching point of view, I want to remove the program, but I midrosoft not found a satisfactory replacement for this program. Windows fres photos while adequate for cropping and resizing, is nowhere near the functionality of the Picture Manager Software.
Picaso we found had too much bloat and was harder to use and I believe that Google has abandoned Picaso anyway. Can anyone recommend a decent program that is free that is still being maintained and looks modern. Do any of your users have Adobe Photoshop? Not sure if its capability, but it’s suppose to be like an intro to their products so it could have some of the features you’re looking frse. Google use alternativve have Picasa, but they are moving to their Google Photos now so that might be another issue depending on your users.
